- Description
- A stone wheel cross with a tapering shaft surmounting a plinth and single-stepped base. The plinth bears WW1 names in black lettering. Three tablets bearing WW2 and Falklands names are set into a wall surrounding the cross. The wheel of the cross contains an equal armed cross and a full triquetra knot. There is a figure of St Michael slaying the dragon in relief on the 6 o'clock face of the shaft. Below St Michael there is a sword depicted in relief with a dedicatory inscription in relief flanking the sword.
