Description
A memorial garden enclosing several stones. These include: a large natural stone with engraved commemoration in gold lettering and with golden anchor attached to stone set at the entry point of a garden with curving stone path way bordered by grass leading to a bench and additional memorial stones and plaque. A small metal plaque with the Boys' Brigade insignia is on the right-facing side of the garden entry. On the left-facing side of the garden border is a stone memorial to Boys' Brigade members who have been awarded with the Victoria or George Cross together with individual commemorative tiles. At the rear of the garden is an irregular-shaped upright slate memorial stone commemorating the 125th anniversary of The Boys' Brigade. A further commemorative slate stone dedicated to the Founder is inlaid in the grass.
