Description
Paper Roll of Honour on Card - it has a single line border with the corner cut away exposing allied flags. On the centre panel the words “For King and Country” form an arc above a wreath and crown between flags. The names are listed in two columns divided by a fine vertical line. Lettering is sunk in casting using elaborate lettering in various colours.

Roll of Honour / Sunniside / Mission Church / To perpetuate the memory and heroism / of the Men belonging to this Parish who fell in the / Great War 1914-1918, two stained-glass windows are / erected in the Parish Church by grateful Parishioners & Friends./ “Who through faith subdued Kingdoms” (Heb. xi.33) / (Names) / In addition to the above-mentioned Stanley Roll of Honour / contains forty seven names. God save the King.
