- Description
- A black tablet with an incised gold border and dedication written in incised gold lettering in the centre. At the top of the tablet is a red engraved poppy, and to the left and right of the dedication are two golden engraved soldiers.

- They shall grow not old,/ as we that are left grow old;/ Age shall not weary them,/ nor the years condemn,/ At the going down of the sun/ and in the morning/ We shall remember them/ - / This plaque is erected in memory of/ those men of the Isle Of Dogs/ who gave their lives in two world wars/ to defend our freedom/ - / W.W.I Centenary/ 2014/ Friends of/ Island Gardens/ Canary Wharf/ Group F.L.C.
