- Wall mounted, landscape orientated, nowy-headed incised marble tablet with chamfered edges and a black marble border. Lettering infilled with black paint. Design in relief at centre top of tablet.

KING'S SHROPSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY / KILLED IN ACTION ON THE SOMME ON OR ABOUT 16th. SEPT. 1916 / WHILE SEARCHING FOR THE WOUNDED ON THE GERMAN BARBED WIRE - AGED 41. / 10 YEARS DOCTOR IN THIS PARISH. / DEARLY LOVED SON OF THOMAS LEWIS AND VICTORIA INGRAM / AND BELOVED HUSBAND OF LILIAN INGRAM. / THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY HIS SORROWFUL PARENTS AND WIDOW. / "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS.
