- Description
- A stained-glass window in memory of the Hon. Thomas Charles Reginald Agar-Robartes (1880-1915). It takes the form of two figurative panels within foil arches. Above each is a stained glass coat-of-arms within trefoil. A stained glass cross and crown within quatrefoil is set at the point of the arch. The two panels show the Virgin Mary on the left and St George and the Dragon on the right. Both figures stand within tracery niches. St George is shown in armour emblazoned with the St George Cross, his sword drawn and the dragon at his feet. He stands within a rocky landscape with oak tree and roses. Mary, in blue robe and yellow mantle, stands against a landscape of trees, holding a stem of lilies, with Lily of the Valley at her feet.
