- Description
- Rectangular brass plaque set on wall mounted marble backboard. Plaque has a moulded frame of elaborate gothic style architecture in raised brass against a blue background. The Halifax coat of arms is featured at the top left. Top right is the South African war medal comprising Britannia with a shield, trident and wreath with a ship and soldiers and the words SOUTH AFRICA. Inscription is in raised bass.
