Description
Wall mounted rectangular tablet with triangular shaped pediment , the centre of this contains the badge of the Hampshire Regiment. This surmounts a rectangular tablet which has a plinth at the top and bottom and column at either side. Placed on a marble backslab with a curved top.

IN MEMORY OF/ HAROLD BERKELEY BEYNON,/ ONLY BELOVED SON OF THOMAS AND LAURA ANNIE BEYNON,/ WHO DIED AT HOLLOWAY FARM PENALLY,/ MAY 6TH 1919, FROM MALARIA CONTRACTED/ WHILE SERVING WITH HIS MAJESTY'S FORCES/ IN SALONICA 1916 - 1919 AGED 21 YEARS/ "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS, THAT A MAN MAY LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS."
