- Description
- Brass rectangular plaque affixed to wall by eight covered screws. Indented black Celtic design borders with the symbols of the Evangelists in the four corners. Within the borders are a heraldic coat of arms; regimental badge of the King's Own Scottish Borderers; Edinburgh Castle above a scroll and a wreath of thistles surmounted by a crown supporting a lion. Motto 'NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA' etched in black with central decorated Latin cross in red and black.
