- Description
- Figure of winged Victory standing on globe positioned atop a polygonal partly dressed rubble column; tapered stem with bands and cushioned base rests on broader two-tier sarcophagus with quoins and copper tablets in Welsh and English. Broadly splayed lower stage with alternating ramps and steps. At base is a second figure representing Humanity emerging from entanglements of war on a pedestal with the Great War Medallion and arms of Aberystwyth and Welsh dragon.
