- Four stepped base surmounted by rough hewn stone plinth and column with cross positioned at top. World War One tablet inset into plinth; World War Two tablet raised and inset at an angle on top two steps.

- The memorial was hit by lightening in 21 March 1983. In 1984 the memorial was re-erected by public subscriptions. Tablets also bear the marks of grafitti from those who have added their own names.
