Description
The memorial consists of two components: a stained glass window and a dedicatory tablet underneath. The window consists of four lights framed by reticulated tracery. The lights 1 and 2 from the left show the blessing of Abram by Melchizedik (indicated by a caption within the window); lights 3 and 4 show Joshua and the Captain of the Lord's Host (indicated by a caption within the window). In the upper tracings the badge of Warwickshire Imperial Yeomanry is displayed, underneath 8 angels are showing a scroll with the text: BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH AND I WILL GIVE THEE A CROWN OF LIFE. The tablet is integrated into the wall underneath the window and framed with ogee arches in a Gothic style. The tablet is decorated on the top with the heraldic animal of Warwick (bear in chains), to its left and right 2 fleury crosses. The 9 o'clock, 6 o'clock, and 3 o'clock faces are framed with floral ornaments. The middle bears the dedicatory inscription and the list of the fallen soldiers in two columns.
