- Two boards, one above the other. with the upper having an extension on its upper edge with 'Banbury County School' written on it. The names are in four columns in gold lettering with carved classical pillars each side. Below is a small longitudinal board with a latin inscription.

- WW1 board: BANBURY/ COUNTY SCHOOL/ WITH PROUD AND LOVING THOUGHTFILNESS OF THOSE/ OF THIS SCHOOL WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 18/ (Names)/ ' AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.' WW2 board: AND OF THOSE WHO FELL IN THE 1939 - 45 WAR/ (Names)/ 'THROUGH SUCH SOULS ALONE GOD STOOPING DOWN SHOWS SUFFICIENT OF HIS LIGHT.' Lower board: MEMENTOTE SODALIUM QUI/ EX HAC SCHOLA PROFECTI IUVENES/ MORTEM PRO NOBIS OBIERUNT.
