Description
Single light stained glass window in seven sections depicting Christ with angels on either side and groups of soldiers below, the soldiers represented in costume of different battle eras with WW1 soldiers at the base and to the forefront. The bottom section has a commemorative inscription.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN PROUD/ AND SORROWING MEMORY OF FIVE OF MY GALLANT FRIENDS/ (Names)/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR KING AND EMPIRE AND THAT THE PRESENT/ AND FUTURE GENERATIONS OF ENGLAND MIGHT LIVE AS A FREE NATION/ THIS WINDOW IS ERECTED TO THE ABOVE AND IN THE HOPE/ THAT IT WILL REMIND US WHO ARE LIVING, THAT GOD AND THE EMPIRE/ STAND NOW AS THEN BEFORE ALL EVEN UNTO DEATH
