- Inscription
- In memory of DAISEY METHVEN/ Lloyd, beloved wife of Sir John/ Buck Lloyd of Waterton House,/ who died March 3rd 1942, aged/ 51 years, Also of their son Lieut. John Buck Lloyd, 1st Battn/ Parachute Regt who was killed in action in Tunisia February 5th/ 1943 aged 23 years. and of Major Alexander Scott Ronald K.R.R.C. attached VI Commando/ beloved husband of their daughter Elizabeth Carlisle Ronald, who/ was killed on action at Algiers/ November 8th 1942 aged 33 years./ For they gave their bodies for the common cause/ & won each for himself fame which ages not.
