- John Dorset Bringhurst is also commemorated on a plaque at the Royal Chapel and St Joseph Church in Waterloo. That plaque states that he was in the 1st Regiment Dragoon Guards, that he was Aide de Camp to Major General Sir H. Fane, and that he was buried "on the spot where he fell, near the west entrance of the farm of la Haye Sainte".
