Description
Rectangular roll of honour on paper in a gilded wooden frame with protective glazing. The roll of honour features small photographs of the South African memorial at Delville Wood, the Ulster tower memorial, Australian memorial and Highland memorial along with a larger photograph of Thiepval memorial. Names of British battles of the First World War are listed in two columns in the lower half of the roll. The name and details of E. Cazalet take centre place, enclosed by a holly wreath.

CAZALET, OF FAIRLAWNE, TONBRIDGE,/ KENT. II. A. 4/ WHO GAVE HIS LIFE IN THE GREAT WAR/ THAT WE MIGHT LIVE/ AND WHOSE NAME IS CARVED IN STONE AT/ CITADEL NEW MILITARY CEMETERY, FRICOURT - FRANCE/ IN MEMORY OF ALL BRITISH TROOPS WHO MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE IN FRANCE.
