Dickinson, F.S.A., F.R.Hist.S, reprinted 1987 by Mapro Publishing Services Ltd of Huntingdon). Page 5 records that the World War 2 tablet was dedicated by Archdeacon W.A. Uthwatt on 9/11/1947. The book also contains the photograph and biographic details of 11 of the 13 men of Brampton who died in World War 2, as well as a Roll of Honour of all those from Brampton, Ellington, Easton and Spaldwick who served in both World Wars, both in the regular Forces and as Air Raid Wardens, the Home Guard, Special Constables and as Fire Guards.
