- Description
- Circular cross set on a tapering shaft, two stepped plinth and square base. The lettering is in black with the dedications on the 6 o'clock face, the WW1 names on the 3 and 9 o'clock faces, and WW2 names on the 12 o'clock face. The whole is surrounded by a small wall.
- Inscription
- 6 o'clock face: "THANKS BE TO GOD/ WHICH/ GIVETH US THE VICTORY."/ THIS CROSS IS ERECTED IN/ EVER GRATEFUL MEMORY/ OF THE/ MEN FROM THIS PARISH,/ WHO FOR TRUTH AND LIBERTY/ LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1918./GRANT THEM O LORD ETERNAL REST. 3 and 9 o'clock faces: (WW1 Names) 12 o'clock face: 1939 - 1945/ (Names)
