- Quendon and Rickling Parish Council website records of the hall: 'The Village Hall is situated on the main B1383 (formerly the A11). It is a Victorian building with very little documented history. A map from 1800 shows a building on the site and local elders have said it was once a coffee shop serving travellers between London and Norwich. It consists of two halls, the larger and older room for parties, dances and bigger functions and a smaller room which is ideal for meetings, etc. The small hall was added in memory of those who lost their lives in the First World War and holds a brass plaque with the names of those who died. Also to be found in the Village Hall is a Memorial to the members of Quendon and Rickling who served in the first world war'. www.quendonandrickling.co.uk/village-hall/
