Description
A traditional temporary well dressing tableau made from flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame and comprising an upright oblong panel with a pointed arch top. The dressing depicted a scene with a soldier standing by a grave marker, with a church in the background. The inscription was in upright dark grey capital lettering on a pale grey ground. The well dressing was displayed from 9th - 15th August 2014 and was subsequently dismantled.
