- Description
- The Cregennan Estate was given to the National Trust in 1959, in memory of brothers Lt C Wynne-Jones and Lt R Wynne-Jones. The 285-hectare estate includes two natural lakes, two hill farms, and mountain land. It has views to Cadair Idris, Barmouth, and across Cardigan Bay to the Llyn Peninsula. The trees on the island in the lake were planted in memory of the brothers.
