- Description
- Oak chest carved with the names and regimental insignia of the nine members of the Marquess of Lincolnshire's family who fell in the First World War. The carvings are in panels on the sides of the chest and on the six doors. A plate on top records that the chest was made in 1921 by ex-servicemen at the Technical Institute Training Centre High Wycombe for the Marquess of Lincolnshire, who was the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.
