Description
An addition to a white marble headstone on a family grave. The tall headstone has a pointed arch top and recessed sides with a Christograph in relief in a roundel at the head and sprays of flowers in relief in two flanking triangular panels. The inlaid inscription in upright capital lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong white marble base with bevelled top and with the makers' name inlaid in the corner and is accompanied by plain oblong white marble kerbs.

WALTER GILLOTT,/ WHO FELL IN ACTION IN FRANCE,/ AUGUST 12TH. 1916/ AGED 22 YEARS./ ALSO THE ABOVE NAMED/ WALTER GILLOTT,/ WHO DIED MARCH 4TH. 1939,/ AGED 78 YEARS./ AND SALLY, HIS BELOVED WIFE/ WHO DIED MAY 9TH. 1938/ AGED 78 YEARS./ "THY WILL BE DONE."
