- Description
- An addition to a headstone on a family grave. The white marble headstone is in the style of an unfurled scroll with the inscription inlaid on the front in upright capital block lettering. Similar further inscriptions are on the foot of the scroll and on the rear of the head. The headstone surmounts a plain oblong white marble base with a further inscription on the face. A CWGC grave marker is placed towards the foot of the grave and has the badge of the Durham Light Ifantry in relief within a roundel at the head and an incised inscription in upright capital roman lettering. Plain oblong white kerbs surround both stones.
