Inscription
Top: Of the men of this parish who went to the Great War 1914-1918 / these passing on by the path of duty and sacrifice / came not back (names) Bottom: Here as one by one they passed we wrote their names in grief and pride: / commending them to God's mercy and His people's prayers. And here / that they be thankfully remembered, we leave them written in sure and cer- / tain hope of the resurrection to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
