- Book of remembrance bound in dark brown leather with names handprinted on velleum, placed in glass case on a carved oak lectern. A second book of remembrance and oak lectern, created for Shropshire's WW2 dead, and replicating this style, is also housed nearby.
- Inscription
- On lectern: REMEMBER Book: this roll of honour was compiled by Frederick Crowte, Clerk to the Lieutenancy, for the County War Memorial Committee, under the chairmanship of the Lord Lieutenant, George Charles, 4th Earl of Powis. The roll was written by Alfred Leonard Reeve and the binding was designed by Douglas Cockerell, 1922.
