Description
A stone baldaquin with an ornately carved quadruple gabled roof. Dedication and names are in raised lettering on a back panel. Centrepiece is a wrought iron shrine with an ivory crucifix and a gilded wooden figure depicting the resurrection.

History
Refurbished 2015: Canwick war memorial has benefitted from a grant of £2445 from the Grants for War Memorials scheme which is jointly funded by English Heritage and The Wolfson Foundation for the repair and conservation of freestanding war memorials in England. This scheme is administered by War Memorials Trust. A further grant of £5000 was obtained from the Church Buildings Council (CBC).
