- Description
- Sculpted figure of a soldier mounted on a rectangular pedestal. Plaque on 6 o'clock face with sculpted angels holding a laurel wreath, within which is a shield with dedicatory inscription. On each of the other pedestal faces, there is a plaque listing WW1 names. The pedestal is placed on a two stepped base surrounded on three sides by a low wall. Two additional plaques mounted on wall, bearing WW2 names and dates. Wall ends with sculpted figures, a heraldic lion with shield on left side and a heraldic deer with shield on right side. The entire memorial is set in a paved enclosure, surrounded by a garden.
