c2005, November: Site deemed unsuitable, memorial relocated to Heroes Memorial Arch (see ref. 17390). c2005, Autumn: Some damaged suffered due to defacing and exposure to elements. Memorial cleaned and repaired. c2003: Memorial mounted on external wall near parking grounds at new church. c2002, November: Original memorial (ref. 60671) irreparably damaged during demolition of original church building. Replica memorial commissioned by demolition company Watkin Jones and Son. Plans made to mount replacement memorial on external wall near parking grounds at new church, Capel Berea Newydd.

Comments: Costs for erecting the memorial were covered by the firms of Watkin Jones and Son and Morbaine. Repairs to memorial after defacing in 2005 carried out by Mr E J John.
