Description
Lieutenant Peter Wolferstan Rylands was killed in a flying accident over the Solent during training on 9th August 1918. Whilst at Beaulieu he had befriended Mrs Poole of Buckler's Wood. She paid for St. Mary's Chapel to be renovated in his memory. There is also a brass plaque and embroidered kneeler in the chapel.
