- Description
- Stained glass window, Main light: Single widely splayed lancet light with plain translucent hand-blown antique glass and a central coat of arms. Blazon: Azure, a lion passant between two estoiles and a cross crosslet fitched argent, a chief or two lions rampant respecting each other gules, supporting a sinister hand coupled of the last. In the dexter chief on an inescutcheon argent a sinister hand couped at the wrist and appaume gules. Crest: Issuing from a naval crown or a cubit arm erect proper charged with a cross patee gules the hand grasping a trident in bend sinister points downward gold Supporters: On either side a lion rampant guarant argent armed gules standing on an anchor proper supporting a trident erect or gorged with a naval crown therefrom a chain reflexed over the back asure. Scroll: Persevere Dependant from the shield is the Badge of a Knight Commander of the Star of India: a five pointed star surrounded by the motto HEAVENS LIGHT OUR GUIDE on a sunburst. Plaque with dedicatory inscription.
