- Inscription:- To William Asseton Smith, Lt of the Temeraire at the Battle of Trafalgar, who died attempting to save 4 men in a boat from the Namur, which got adrift in a gale, but he (and 7 men) died, 6 January 1806, aged 24. (Line spacing unknown).
