- Hardback bound Book of Remembrance. The monument on The Law referred to in the dedication is our reference 6021. There used to be a copy of this on pages on an oak stand- our reference 76445 but this was broken up in 2010.

- Archibald Ure Buchanan was born 3 Dec 1893 at 58 Seafield Road, Dundee. 2nd Lt. Buchanan, Archibald Ure, Att`d 1st Bn. Gordon Highlanders d. 27 Sept 1915 from wounds received at Hooge on 25 Sept 1915. Son of Robert Buchanan and Elizabeth Dunlop Buchanan ms Gartshore, both of Kirkintilloch. Family residing in Birmingham, England from 1901 where Archibald joined Warwickshire Yeomanry in June 1914 and at outbreak of war joined 3rd Bn. Gordon Highlanders. He was later attached to 1st Bn. Gordon Highlanders. Commemorated on plaques at Olton, at St Margaret's Church and United Reformed Church. Archibald was buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium in Plot 1; Row A; Grave 25 He is also listed in De Ruvigny`s Roll of Honour 1914-1919
