Description
A wooden battlefield grave marker , at the top of the upright are flat wooden pieces forming a six pointed star . There are no markers but on the star there are the remains of nail holes . Below the marker which is wall mounted is a metal plaque from the IWGC referring to the marker

There are no words on the marker . The IWGC plaque below reads as follows "THE ABOVE SHIELD OF DAVID SACRED EMBLEM/IS FROM THE GRAVE OF/AN UNKNOWN JEWISH SOLDIER IN FRANCE /AND HAS BEEN ENTRUSTED BY/THE IMPERIAL WAR GRAVES COMMISSION /TO THE CARE OF THE /LIVERPOOL OLD HEBREW CONGREGATION/IN UNDYING MEMORY OF THE /FALLEN JEWISH SOLDIERS OF THIS DISTRICT/DURING THE GREAT WAR/1914-1918/
