Description
Small figure of soldier standing with helmet in left hand and rifle upraised in his right. Wall behind is filled with small regimental shields from various units. The 107th Brigade was composed of the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 15th Rifles, each battalion being recruited from a separate district of the city, but the 14th R.I.R. (Y.C.V.) were from all districts, and was representative of all classes and creeds.

Newspaper report in 1951 that the Battalion colours were restored to its former place beside the unit's memorial statuette after having been lost for six years. It had been found in an office, given preservation and restoration treatment and sealed between two framed sheets of glass.
