Description
Stained glass window portraying Christ's sacrifice on the cross with Sts Mary & John to the left and a praying Roman soldier to the right, flanked by a kneeling bluejacket and kneeling airman. St George and the Dragon is flanked by the Arms of the Sees of Lincoln and Canterbury. Martyrdom of St Alban flanked by Moses and Judas Maccabeus. St Oswald of Northumbria erects a cross, flanked by RAF badge and Badge of Lincolnshire Yeomanry. St Martin divides his coat for a beggar flanked by Joshua and Gideon. St Edmund tied to a tree and executed by the firing of arrows flanked by Lincolnshire Regiment Badge and (Royal) Tank Corps Badge. WW1 Battlefield Burial flanked by David with a sling and Cornelius, a Roman soldier who became a Christian.
