Top tablet: TOVIL SCOUTS CHAPEL/ built circa 1935/ THIS AREA WAS USED AS A PLACE OF WORSHIP FOR/ LOCAL AND VISITING SCOUTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD/ IT FORMED PART OF THE ORIGINAL TOVIL SCOUT/ HEADQUARTERS COMPLEX/ WHICH COMPRISED UNTIL 1984, AN AREA APPROXIMATELY/ 5 ACRES./ THIS PLAQUE COMMEMORATES THOSE MEMBERS OF THE/ TOVIL ROVER SCOUTS WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES/ IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY/ DURING WORLD WAR II/ 1939-1945.
