- Description
- Nowy headed back board, in three panels. A corniced top with a Key header. The centre panel has a carved rope border, bears a bronze cross, a curled scroll bearing the names and main inscription. A relief moulded wreath is laid at the top of the cross and scroll. Carved columns support the cornicing at each side. A narrow board bearing a painted valedictory inscription in gold. The Names of those who returned are painted in gold, the names of those who died are in relief on the main plaque.
