Description
A white marble headstone and base on a family grave. The headstone is in the style of a scroll unfurled over a wall which has sprays of flowers on it. The inlaid inscription is in upright capital lettering.

In/ Loving Memory of/ LIZZIE DAY,/ WHO DIED JANY 13TH. 1927,/ AGED 65 YEARS./ A SUDDEN CHANGE, IN A MOMENT FELL,/ I HAD NOT TIME TO BID MY FRIENDS FARWELL/ THINK NOT THIS STRANGE, DEATH HAPPENS UNTO ALL,/ THIS DAY WAS MINE TOMORROW YOU MAY FALL./ "THY WILL BE DONE."/ ALSO GUNNER WALTER SIDNEY DAY, R.G.A./ KILLED IN ACTION OCTR. 11TH. 1917, AGED 29 YEARS./ GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS,/ THAT HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS.
