Description
Illuminated Roll of Honour in framed and glazed case. It is headed by a picture of George V with lion to the left and unicorn to the right. To the left and right of these supporters are two flags: on the left the Union Flag and the French Tricolour, and on the right the flags of Belgium and Russia. Beneath the inscription are names in five columns. Note: There is another, different Barry Railway Company WW1 Roll of Honour, of which there are at least three copies, one at the Didcot Railway Centre (memorial 88395), one at the National Railway Museum (memorial 60749) and one at the Barry War Museum (memorial 60749).
