Description
A cast bronze figure of the Duke in military uniform and robes of the Order of the Garter on a fluted granite Tuscan column and plain square pedestal. The capital carries a square balcony, drum and dome and the face of the pedestal bears a cast metal plaque with the inscription in raised upright mixed case lettering. The column is accompanied by a flight of steps descending to The Mall.
