- Description
- Public House named after John Fielding VC. Pte John Fielding (aka Williams) served with the 24th Regiment of Foot (later the Welsh Borderers). He won the Victoria Cross at the defence of Rorke's Drift, in the Zulu War, on 22/23 January 1879. He was a resident of Cwmbran and the pub was named in his honour in 2004.
