- Description
- Chapel hall, since demolished. The dedicatory Roll of Honour is illuminated in colour and gold. The border illustrates a pediment with flanking side columns decorated with national flowers: thistle, rose, shamrock and daffodil. The border bears the coat of arms of France, Belgium, Egypt, Australia, Italy, South Africa, New Zealand, America, Canada and India. On the top border is the British royal coat of arms flanked by the flags of six Allied nations. On the lower border is a sword and scales within a laurel wreath, flanked by the flags of four Allied nations. The list of names is hand written at centre. and the whole is mounted in a glazed wooden frame.
