Condition
History
3 September 2010: The figure has some damage to the left foot and a decoration is missing from the top of the pillar against which she kneels. The surface on which it is mounted has some deep cracks and, though not part of the memorial, could jeopardise the stability of it. The cornice is also cracked but has been repaired. The inscription is rather feint and not easy to read. 20 June 1952: Building listed Grade I, English Heritage reference 402847 c 1926: Memorial removed from nave during refurbishment, in preparation for church being designated a cathedral, and relocated in the crypt. c 1905: Memorial in original position on third column and just visible in photographs in All Saints Scrapbook. 1881: Memorial described by Rev J C Cox as being in the third pier (actually a column) on the south side of the nave, counting from the East.
