Wooden board with a painted shield mounted inside a wooden frame above a laminated paper inscription. The shield is the emblem for the Norwegian Seamans War Verterans Association.

This plaque is placed here in memory of all the/ Norwegian Merchant Navy sailors who lost/ their lives at sea in World War 1/ and II/ Many of them worshipped inthe Norwegian/ Seamans Mission Church in Cardiff Docks/ throughout both World Wars. Vilyserfred over deres minne 1914-1918 1939-1945
