Description
A cast bronze portrait of Capt Selous, in uniform and carrying a rifle, set into a Matoppo Hills Granite niche in a stone tablet. A bronze bas relief of lions is mounted below the niche, and the inscription is arranged in two side panels in raised block lettering. The sculptor's name is placed at the bottom right.
