Description
A crucifix rising from a double octagonal base surmounted by a pedestal carrying the arms of England, Lincolnshire, the Diocese and the Parish. On each of the eight sides of the base are carved the name of a battle or theatre of war. Name plaques with the names of the deceased from two world wars are on the pedestal faces 3, 5 and 7. Incised on face 1 at the base of the crucifix are the dates for world war 2 and the names of two deceased men, this information is repeated on the plaque on face 5.

2008: Memorial is weathered with detail on the shields starting to diminsh and the lettering becoming illegible in places. 2017: Listed by Historic England on 19th October. 2019: Memorial is weathered with detail on the shields still diminishing and the lettering becoming illegible in places but still discernible.
