- Four-sided turreted tower. Two-stepped base surmounted by granite pedestal and tower. Tower supporting castellated turret with flag pole. Panels with names for WW1 set into all sides of tower. Bronze plaque with WW2 dedication set onto 6 o'clock face of pedestal. Additional bronze plaques with WW2 names in raised lettering on unknown face(s) of tower. No material condition change at September 2015 site visit so the images remain current, no purpose seen in taking the same images again. As of Spring 2019 this is on the War Memorials Trust caseload for possible refurbishment of the names panels. This memorial covers the following communities on the Isle of Harris-Ardahasaig, Amhuinnsuidh, Ardslave, Ardvey, Borosdale, Borsam, Borve, Bowglass, Carrigrich, Caw, Cluer, Collam, Crossbay, Diriclate, Drinishadder, Finsbay, Flodibay, Geocrab, Grosebay, Hushinish, Kyles Scalpay, Leacin, Leacklee, Leverburgh, Lickisto, Manish, Marig, Meavag, Mollingimish, Northton, Quidinish, Rhenigidale, Scadabay, Scalpay, Scarista, Scarp, Seilbost, Stockinish, Strond, Tarbert, Tolmacan, & Urgha
