Description

Three light stained glass window with three quatrefoil lights at the top. An angel is depicted in each of the small lights holding a ribbon with dedications and dates. The main lights depict "The Great Sacrifice". In the centre is the figure of Christ on the cross with the figure of a dead soldier lying on the ground at his feet. Four angels are shown in the lights on either side.

Top quatrefoil light: TO THE GLORY OF GOD Bottom left quatrefoil light: 1914 Bottom right quatrefoil light: 1919 Across base of the main lights: GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. ST JOHN.XV.13
